Join us, during Climate Week, for the unveiling of the first Climate Action Outdoor Museum in New York, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
We are bringing to life four large murals about Urban Ecosystem Restoration (by artist Millo), Ocean Ecosystem Restoration (by artist Dulk), Sustainable Plastic Practices (by artist Mr Super A) and Sustainable Fashion (by artist Emily Ding) to inspire everybody to be an ally for our planet! The murals are made possible thanks to the kind support of the Michael and Rebecca Cemo Foundation, Manhattan Mini Storage and the Javits Center.
This historical initiative, which capitalizes on the success of our large Ecosystem Restoration mural at the Javits Center unveiled during Climate Week 2023, will continue to expand every year and serve as a tangible symbol of climate optimism, empowering the public to take action.
Urban Ecosystem Restoration by artist Millo highlights our vital connection to nature and the need to protect biodiversity in urban areas. Linked to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
Ocean Ecosystem Restoration by artist Dulk pays tribute to local blue ecosystems and the ongoing efforts needed for healthier oceans. Linked to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
Sustainable Plastic Practices by artist Super A is a call for people to adopt new habits to limit their plastic footprint to beat plastic pollution. Connected to UNEP’s work on the legally binding Global Plastic Treaty.
Sustainable Fashion by artist Emily Ding is an invitation for people to rethink their fashion aspirations in a world of overconsumption hurting our planet. This is about shifting the fashion narrative.
