Experience one of the most inspiring self-guided Art Walk ever created, with murals celebrating the centennial of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the oldest United Nations agency.
Located close to the United Nations between East 42nd and East 48th street, these murals depict the social justice and fair employment challenges we are facing in terms of green jobs, gender equality at work, eradication of child and forced labor, youth employment, and future of work.
Participating artists: Clandestinos, Faith 47, Jorge Gerada, Mr Cenz and Victor Ash. Production and Curation: Street Art for Mankind.
We offer a free audio-guide app available on IOS and Android to help you learn more about the murals while doing the Art Walk. You can also use it in front of your computer, by scanning the pictures above.
To hear the artist speak about his creative process or simply read the story behind each mural above.
The app also helps you locate the murals closest to you and make creative selfies to share with us and the artist.
