SAM partners for the first time with UNESCO on the creation of a series of large murals focusing on quality education for all. Their goal is to raise awareness and mobilize action, to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all by 2030.
The first mural, by artist Victor Ash, was created in Paris, France. It was unveiled in tandem with the Transforming Education Pre-summit, convened by UNESCO on June 27th 2022.
The second mural, by artist Belin was produced in Houston, Texas. It was the opportunity to organize a UNESCO Campus program and link Houston High schools with other high schools across the world. This mural is also part of the Big Art Bigger Change murals series
The Paris mural was made possible thanks to the support of Solvay and the Houston mural thanks to the support of Downtown Houston and TotalEnergies.
