GONZO247, aka Mario Figueroa, is a multi-disciplinary Mexican-American artist who lives in Houston.
- Technique:
GONZO247 spent most of his early career showcasing and educating the local community on non-traditional forms of art, specifically graffiti art, the visual language of Hip Hop culture, while at the same time pushing his artistic boundaries. He painted his first public, privately paid mural to promote his Texan pride in 1990. Over the years, his active participation in the Houston art community and promotion of his hometown began to award him a large number of murals around town.

GONZO247 has painted a large number of murals in Houston, but his work can also be seen around United States, Nigeria, Mexico, and Norway.
