Belin

  • Belin aka Miguel Angel Belinchón is a Spanish plastic artist from Andalusia.

  • Technique:

Belin started spray painting at the age of 15 bombarding the neighbourhoods of his own city with signatures and lettering in the 90s. Over the years, Belin achieved an absolute mastery of spray and hyperrealism technique and experimented with the deformation of anthropomorphic reality, breaking down animals and humans to create a universe through which he transmits personified behaviors of society. This has progressively led him to new conceptions of art and to Postneocubism, an essential evolution of cubism, which has become an identifying symbol of the artist.

  • Exposure:

Belin participated in 2005 in the ‘Biennial Europe and the Mediterranean’ event in the city of Naples, leading to a frenetic rise in activity throughout the World. His iconic style, Postneocubism, is recognized by critics as well as contemporaries, as a key artistic trend of the 21st century.
