“Accra Floods” Print – Houston

Price range: $250 through $650

Interactive Signed Fine Art Print featuring the mural “Accra Floods” created by artist Moh Awudu in Houston, Texas.

Clear
Interactive Signed Fine Art Print featuring the mural titled "Accra Floods" created by artist Moh Awudu in Houston, Texas, based on an original painting by Ghanaian artist Ablade Glover.
The mural is part of the #BigArtBiggerChange murals curated and produced by Street Art for Mankind in Downtown Houston.

It is about flooding and climate change (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13).
“Accra Floods” connects two cities, Accra (in Ghana) and Houston, on different parts of the planet yet struck by similar natural disasters. The original work, painted in 1992, is an oil on canvas measuring 40”x40”. It was painted with a palette knife (not with a brush), giving an immediacy comparable to the street art technics. The original and the mural both paint the crowd movement and its spirit.

Mural Location: 100 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77002.
