Interactive Signed Fine Art Print featuring the "Sisterhood” mural created by artist Pinklomein in Houston, Texas.
The mural is part of the #BigArtBiggerChange murals curated and produced by Street Art for Mankind in Downtown Houston.
It is inspired by the global work of the Women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, whose community impact, for over 100 years, has been manifested through sisterhood, scholarship and service. This work symbolizes the eradication of drowning in vulnerable populations, promotion of women’s wellness, enrichment of youth and lifelong education. It serves as an inspiration to always leave the world greater than before. This artwork supports achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 17. “Sisterhood” depicts three women that represent the diversity of African-American women using the artist’s distinctive style. The ribbon imagery depicts the independence and creative freedom that we all aspire to. This piece reminds the viewer to DREAM BIG and that community service is essential to community progress.
