This mural reflects on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12.5 and the importance of reducing waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
This spectacular mural presents a radiant Persephone who invites us to rethink the way we consume. The goddess of renewal and the cycles of life is depicted with a symbolic attribute—a glowing pomegranate—while ginkgo biloba climbs along her arm, evoking renewal and the inner strength of a species that has endured for more than 270 million years.
