The mural features a statue of liberty, looking up to the skies and overgrown with an abundance of nature, trees, and forestry. The artwork seeks in our pioneering and egalitarian spirit the strength to reclaim our urban landscapes equally and for everybody, particularly in America’s rust belt cities. This is about fighting for tree equity in our cities and, more generally, for a thriving nature on our planet.
